This notice explains what personal information CheckYuhBoy & Auras Consulting collects through this website, why we use it, how long we keep it and how you can ask for a copy or a deletion. It is written to meet Bermuda's Personal Information Protection Act.

CheckYuhBoy & Auras Consulting, based in Bermuda, is responsible for the personal information described in this notice.

Inquiry details you choose to send us through the contact form: your name, your email address and your message. If you started from a service page, we also record which page you came from so the reply has context.
Anonymous visit statistics: the page path, the referring site, the screen width and a random session identifier that changes and is not linked to you. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not store your IP address, and we do not build profiles or track you across other websites.
To read and reply to your inquiry and to carry out any consulting work you ask us to do.
To understand which pages people find useful so the site can be improved. This is done with anonymous counts only.
We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not use it for advertising.
Sending the contact form is voluntary. By sending it you agree that we may use your details to reply to you. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time and we will.
You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@checkyuhboy.app and we will respond within a reasonable time and normally within fourteen days.
Inquiries are kept for up to twenty four months so we can follow the conversation, then deleted. If you become a client, records tied to the engagement are kept for as long as we need them for the work and for ordinary business and tax purposes.
Anonymous visit statistics are kept for up to twenty four months.
Only the Privacy Officer has access to inquiries. The site and its database are operated for us by cloud hosting and database providers who process information on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
We may share information where the law requires it.
Our hosting and database providers store information on servers located outside Bermuda. Where that happens we require the provider to protect the information to a standard comparable to the one required in Bermuda.
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Inquiries are held in a database with access rules that prevent public reading, and only the Privacy Officer can view them.
If a breach ever created a real risk of harm to you, we would notify you and the Privacy Commissioner as required by PIPA.
This site is intended for adults and business owners. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If you are not satisfied with how we handled your information, contact hello@checkyuhboy.app first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Bermuda.
